Viva Piano  –  Viva Forte

The new “Viva Piano-Viva Forte” project highlights the latin spirit and juxtaposes works ranging from the baroque era to the present day. The repertoires of Bach, Scarlatti and Galuppi happily rub shoulders with the folk and popular works by Ginastera and Villa-Lobos, the more intimate world of Mompou and the poetic world of Debussy and Ravel. The contrasting colours, the profusion of rhythms, sometimes perceptive, sometimes languorous, characterize this passionate and unusual musical itinerary.

Compiled with my students at the Bern University of Arts, this CD is dedicated to the association « Soliday » in the Canton of Aargau with a wish to contribute to the well-being of children in this region of Switzerland.
